Under 15's - Glenelg 21 def RedSox 3

Kai got the start for the Tigers and after a couple of walks, let the field do the work with a quick play at second by Anna, a fly ball to Cyrus at first and one back to himself to put the home team into bat.  A double to Charlie, an infield hit to Henry, and a lot of walks put the team back in the field plating the maximum seven runs.

The second innings saw 3 up and 3 down with a strikeout and a great play by Henry swooping on a mishit ball to keep it in play for the out at first.  The bottom of the second saw 2 hits to Cyrus and 1 for Ollie followed by 5 BB's and the Tigers scoring another 7.

Ollie took the mound in the top of the third and sandwiched 3 walks and an infield between two KCs giving up 1 run to the Red Sox.  Hits to Henry, Kai and Cyrus plated 5 more runs for the home team after 3,

Cyrus pitched the final innings for the Tigers and with some help from Henry and Bailey in the field got the team back into bat with only 2 runs to the Red Sox.  Hits to Kai, Charlie (double), and Sam in the bottom of the 4th saw the game end 21-3.

A combined no hitter for the team, a lot of quality at-bats and solid fielding shows a team continuing to improve each week.

Under 11's - Glenelg 2 lost to Indians 10

After coming off a couple of wins, the U11’s went down to the Indians this week.

With 3 players out of action we had the bare 9 to get us through the warm morning.

Zac Maclean started off strong as usual, only giving up 3 runs in his 40 pitch limit and collecting 5 strikeouts.

We managed to get 2 runs on the board in the 3 rd inning, thanks to a few walks and a RBI by Zac. James Jucha then made his pitching debut for the Tigers and did a superb job. He collected 3 strikeouts with no runs scoring!

We started the 4th inning but due to time we did not complete with the score reverting back to 6-2 in the end. After 2 weeks of cancelled training sessions we are keen to get back out this week - fingers crossed!
