We gave Josh the ball and he started well ,unfortunately he tweaked a muscle in his arm so we put him over to first base .Georgia them came in and yet again was excellent, she got control of there hitters and got outs . once we had a good lead going into the last, its was time for Kia to shut down and he did ,so overall pitching carried us through
We all had good times at bat Archie and Harvey came up we back to back doubles and all picked walks when they came along josh got a good hit to RBI later in the game this was timely Noah and squits hit the ball hard all day with little luck.
Defensively our outfield was brilliant Wurf outstanding running everything down and he also ran the bases very well, he had a good game, Harvey took two good catches, our infield not good so work to be done there.
Good having Jetstar and Noah back ,my thanks to Noah, Renae and Scotty for sending Noah back from Melbourne we really appreciate it .
Little League played 6th placed ET. ET had nothing to lose and came out fighting, even thou we held them we weren't playing anywhere near our best. After a quick rev up from Bianca the young tigers started to lift and before we knew it we had blown them away, with great hitting. Pitchers all pitched well, fielding needs work this week but our hitting has been our strength this year and keeps getting better. We need to keep on improving thru out the week as the bar keeps lifting we need to be working harder so we don't hit it.
