Junior League - Glenelg lost to East Torrens

Conner did very well pitching as did Georgia and Ki, but our defence was not good and we handed Sturt runs, this needs to be fix now. Andrew and I very disappointed in this lack of concentration, our team all can field very well so it must just have been all mental

There was some fantastic hitting by Arch , Harvey  again a massive drive and Conner a good single up the middle. Unfortunately we swung at bad pitches this again helped Sturt

I felt the game was very there to be won  we just didn't play well

sometime we have these little bumps in the road so we will regroup, work harder and get it back on track

Little League - Glenelg 12 def East Torrens 5

For our second game of the season we travelled out to East Torrens. Still learning the game we knew we had a big game ahead. We got off well with 2 runs to 0 in the first. The next 2 innings we were able to get batters on base but without hitting the score board. Then the young tigers started to gain more confidence at the plate knocking around 5 runs. It started to get tight coming into the last 2 innings as we lead 7/5. The group took on the challenge and again knocked in another 5 runs, then held off a tough group to finish with the W 12/5. Henry, Callum and Kai all pitched well, with Cyrus and Noah outstanding behind the plate, great hits were started off by Kai.S, followed by Blake, Kaylem, Lucas and a great Start to his fist game Bode. We still have a lot of improvement in our game but it was great to see everyone getting a hit and when challenged to take up the fight. Go tigers.

Minor League - Glenelg 4 lost to Hawks 6
