Under 11's - Glenelg 2 lost to West Torrens 6

Under 13/2's - Glenelg 14 def Southern Districts 7

Sunday game was against the hawks, we changed a few things around with Oliver starting pitcher and he did a great job, followed by Daz n Nic who both did their jobs. It ended as our best game for the year. With great hits to Callum, Kia, Wren the two vankryssen boys and starting to find the ball Zack and Harry all did great jobs at bat.Sam and Cyrus both had good games catching. It looks like we will have the job ahead of us this weekend but after this game we should go into it with confidence

Under 15's - Glenelg 2 lost to East Torrens 15

The 9am start saw us up early to brave a chilly start to the day and gear up to take on the top of the ladder Red Sox at home. With some confusion around start times, we rolled out a bare 8, but a huge thanks to the ET boys happy to fill in and give us a full field each dig.

I flipped the ball to Owen Williams in his first start ever, and he did a good job throwing strikes again a good hitting outfit. A few errors and missed opportunities in the field saw I surrender a 7 spot in the top of the first. With a bit more help from the field Owen got thru the next inning only giving up a few. I called on Max Stagg to throw the middle innings and he was great, mixing in a few Ks and a few scattered hits.

We had good at bats even against their ace early, Archie lovelock and Ryan Wurfel having good days with the bat.

This drew the curtain on our season. With a few pretty raw guys it was always going to be a battle for us to post a heap of Ws, but there has been a noticeable improvement in each and every guy. Thanks to the players for another fun year and the scorers who have helped out on game days.

Under 17's - Glenelg 10 def Adelaide 5

Rion started on the mound and threw well with a good strike to ball ratio, after he got to about 60 pitches we rolled out the relievers some good some bad .this was done to give the boys a bit of pitching time as to get them ready to play finals

Fielding solid, this was encouraging, Harry and Lavo did most of it

Base runner had its moments but over the whole season has been good

We scored most of our runs on errors we need to string most base hits together, I felt Rion was a standout with the bat

Looks like we will finish 2nd  which is a fare account of the season ,a good each way bet from here on

Time will tell
